Epicenter goes LIVE with gigabit 5G – enabled by AMF Fastigheter, Tre and Proptivity

Epicenter Stockholm, one of Scandinavia’s leading innovation hubs and a community for fast-growing digital companies and corporates, is now live with full gigabit-speed indoor 5G. While members and visitors already enjoy solid Wi-Fi, this upgrade adds a new layer of secure, mobile, high-performance connectivity available everywhere in the building.

With support from property owner AMF Fastigheter, Proptivity’s advanced indoor infrastructure, and Tre Sverige as the first operator onboard, Epicenter is strengthening its role as a showcase for how modern buildings can deliver digital performance at the very highest level.

Speed tests confirmed gigabit performance indoors, proving that this is more than an incremental improvement. It’s a next-level connectivity experience designed for people who need to work, meet, and innovate without compromise.

For members, tenants, and visitors, the new 5G layer is about more than speed, it’s about being ready for what’s next:

  • Capacity and performance to support even the most demanding future use cases, from AR glasses to data-heavy AI tools.
  • High-capacity backup that keeps people connected if other systems fail — so work doesn’t stop when connectivity is critical.
  • Next-level security through private, encrypted mobile connections that strengthen protection for business-critical tasks.

“Connectivity is the foundation for innovation,” said Edgar Luczak, Chairman at Epicenter. “With indoor 5G now live, we’re securing great coverage and giving our members the platform to explore what’s next, from immersive experiences to data-driven services that will shape the future of work.”

“We see indoor 5G as the next frontier of intelligent buildings,” said Mikael Österberg, CIO at AMF Fastigheter. “By enabling this rollout, we’re improving the everyday experience for tenants today and opening the door to smarter, more sustainable services tomorrow.”

“Connectivity is the fabric of modern workplaces,” said Johan Hörberg, CCO Business Market at Tre Sverige. “At Epicenter, Tre customers can now experience the true benefits of 5G in a live environment, from seamless video calls to advanced applications like AR, IoT, and AI.”

“Epicenter is where ideas turn into reality,” said Mikael Lundman, CEO of Proptivity. “Our indoor mobile infrastructure makes it simple for all operators to connect and deliver services. With Tre now live, members and visitors can already feel the difference: gigabit speeds, crystal-clear coverage, and a building that’s future-ready.”

Epicenter has built its reputation as a creative tech hub where startups, scaleups, and corporates meet to innovate and grow. With indoor 5G now a core part of its infrastructure, Epicenter is taking another step toward being one of Europe’s most connected and forward-looking environments for innovation.
