Epicenter Stockholm, AMF Fastigheter, Tre Sverige, and Proptivity today announced a new partnership that brings high-performance indoor 5G to Epicenter — setting a new standard for innovation hubs. With the launch, Epicenter becomes one of Europe’s first truly 5G-enabled digital communities. The new infrastructure empowers members, partners, and guests to explore next-generation solutions in real time — from seamless hybrid work experiences to cutting-edge IoT, AR, and AI applications.

With ultra-fast gigabit speeds and robust indoor coverage, businesses at Epicenter can now test, scale, and launch future-ready services directly from the heart of Stockholm’s innovation scene. The building is also being transformed into a living lab for 5G-powered innovation, giving startups and enterprises the tools to prototype and experiment with new ideas on-site, in real-world conditions.

“Reliable and fast connectivity is a fundamental requirement for innovation,” says Edgar Luczak, Chairman of the Board at Epicenter. “By introducing advanced indoor 5G, we’re strengthening the ability of our members to drive development, think differently, and stay at the forefront.”

“We see a growing need for better indoor coverage as more and more essential services go digital. With 5G in place at Epicenter, we can create better conditions for both companies and critical public services to test and develop solutions that require stable, fast, and secure connectivity,” says Johan Hörberg, CCO Business Market at Tre Sverige.

”AMF Fastigheter is participating in the pilot to explore the possibilities that true indoor 5G can offer — both for us as a property owner and for our tenants. For us, this initiative is about more than just connectivity. We want to test and evaluate how 5G technology can contribute to the development of smart services and more sustainable buildings,” says Mikael Österberg, CIO at AMF Fastigheter.

Mikael Lundman, CEO of Proptivity, added: “Epicenter is all about what’s next. We’re proud to enable Sweden’s most ambitious companies with best-in-class indoor 5G, helping them move faster, experiment more, and connect in ways that weren’t possible before.”

The 5G deployment is starting immediately and will be completed shortly, setting a new benchmark for indoor 5G in commercial real estate and helping reinforce Stockholm’s position as a European leader in digital innovation.
