Proptivity is installing the world’s leading indoor 5G solution in Vasakronan’s central Stockholm property, Sergelhusen. Based on Proptivity’s shared 5G infrastructure, the solution provides seamless, high-performance coverage in the designated areas of the building.

The new technology lays the foundation for smarter, future-ready workplaces by enabling fast, secure, and stable connectivity. It supports fully mobile work setups, flexible office layouts without cabling, energy-efficient operation of smart building systems, and faster deployment of digital services and solutions.

Together with one of its tenants, Vasakronan aims to explore how mobile-based technologies, such as 5G-connected laptops, flexible IT environments, and secure mobile connectivity, can simplify operations, support hybrid work, and improve the experience for both employees and visitors in an upgraded office environment.

“This gives us a chance to really understand what indoor 5G can deliver,” says Nicklas Wållberg Walldan, Head of Development at Vasakronan. “It’s not just about strong coverage, it’s about creating smarter, more sustainable spaces that are ready for the future.”

The installation is ready to host all Swedish mobile operators on the shared infrastructure, which is designed for minimal environmental impact and maximum performance. The result is strong signal, high capacity, and reliable connectivity for any operator that connects.

“Indoor 5G isn’t just a technical upgrade,” says Mikael Lundman, CEO of Proptivity. “It’s a fundamental shift in how buildings can support modern business needs — by offering simpler, safer, and more dynamic environments for tenants and visitors alike.”
